I am so thankful to have a dentist right in the village of Schroon Lake! Dr. Levey's practice has the small town feel, while providing state-of-the-art dental care. He and his staff are highly skilled and compassionate, and treat me like a person rather than just a number. I recommend Dentist ADK and his team without reservation.
I am 88 and have seen a lot of dentists over the years. Some were pretty good because I still have most of my teeth , or ones that look like mine. But no dentist I've had was as good as Dr Bard Levey. He is not only personable and well plugged into the community, but more importantly is thoroughly modern in his equipment and techniques and achieves excellent result without undue drama or pain! He has assembled a highly competent staff and is well positioned to serve a section of the Adirondacks that has been without a local dentist for years. And on top of that he can give you directions to some well-trodden mountain hikes! I am truly relieved not to have to travel very far for this level of professional dentistry.
Ever since COVID, it’s been very difficult to find a good dentist and hygienist. I have been to a local dentist and hygienist who seemed to hurry and rush through to get to the next patient. Doctor Levey and his staff are very professional and meticulous when it came to my care and treatment. I would highly recommend this dentist and by far is the best office in the North Country.
Yesterday, 5/12/25, a Sunday and Mother's Day no less, I started having severe pain in a tooth I was told 6 months ago needed a root canal (my previous dentist was supposed to contact me about scheduling treat but I never heard from the office again). I had seen Dr. Levey ad in the local free newspaper and decided to send an email form to see if I could possibly be seen sometime this week. Imagine my surprise when 2 hours later, I received an answer to my email - from the dentist himself! On a Sunday! And Mother's Day! He got my information about what the trouble was, and he told me to call his office manager when the office opened this morning at 9 am. I did, and she requested I get my dental x-rays from 6 months prior and have them emailed to the office (Dr. Levey had instructed me to do this in his email). I was given an appointment for 2 pm on the same day I called! To say I was impressed is an understatement. I arrived at the office and was greeted by the office manager, then the dental assistant who introduced herself and introduced me to all the assistants on our way down to the examination room. When Dr. Levey came into the room a very short time later, he introduced himself and was very engaging and personable. He reviewed my x-rays, took a few more of the problem area, explained my options, found a couple cavities that the previous dentist had missed 6 months before, and outlined a plan of treatment. At no time did I feel rushed or dismissed as we talked about my dental health and what needed to be done. I have to say in my 24 years of living in the North Country, this is the best provider I have found, and I am more than comfortable trusting him with my dental health. Absolutely marvelous! A+++

I’ve always been nervous about going to the dentist, especially when the visit involved a crown. After my first visit with Dr. Levey and his staff, this is no longer the case. Dr. Levey explained every step of the procedure in advance. The crown was made in house, eliminating the month-long period with a temporary and the second visit. I was given the opportunity to see just how the crown was made. It fits perfectly and I’m more than thrilled with the results. It’s a great piece of mind knowing that a dentist of Dr. Levey’s caliber is now accessible in our remote area of the Adirondacks.
I am new to DentistADK. I was I need of dental work in a hurry for spinal surgery . I was taken in quickly treated like family. We had a consultation, so I was well informed. The day of appointment for work (which was a lot.five teeth removed,cleaning also fillings... wow!!) I must say it never hurt at all! His staff is the best ever. I love them! They were so nice to me, like family. The doc he’s great, also like family. He kept me well informed on everything. The next day I have no pain at all and I’m feeling better all around.
