Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re in significant pain, have visible damage to a tooth, or have an infection, it’s an emergency. When in doubt, call us. We’d rather hear from you and help you figure it out than have you waiting at home in pain.

Emergency rooms can help manage pain and infections, but they’re typically not equipped to treat dental issues directly. Your best course of action is to contact us as quickly as possible.

Time is critical. Keep the tooth moist, handle it by the crown, not the root, and call us immediately. If we can see you quickly enough, there’s a chance the tooth can be reinserted.

Over-the-counter pain relievers can help in the short term. A cold compress on the outside of your face can also reduce swelling. Avoid putting aspirin directly on the gum tissue, as it can cause irritation.

Not really a good question, because as your gums and bone remodels, your denture will almost always become loose over time.
So it is normal for dentures to need adjustments over time as your mouth changes. Never try to adjust them yourself; home-made
denture relines or adjustments rarely end well.....
